ACSM Tours provides all tours subject to these Terms and Conditions. The booking of a tour constitutes a contract with ACSM Tours SAS, Normandy, France. The version of terms and conditions is effective as of 01/01/2021.WHAT IS INCLUDED AND NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF YOUR TOUR?Prices are in euros. Price for a private tour is by vehicle (sedan, minibus, minicars, bus). For group tours, the price is per person. VAT is always included in the price. It is 10% for transportation and 20% for guiding or a mix of both. Transportation insurance, tolls, parking fees, bottle of waters, lunch of the driver/guide are includedPrices do not include: entrance fees for museum, personal insurance for activites, lunch unless specified. Note that this is not an exhaustive list of the items not included in the price. We can hire a wheelchair during your tour. Ask us for a quotation email@example.comBOOKINGThe person making a reservation must be eighteen (18) years old at the time of booking.Reservations can be made by filling a reservation form at the foot of each tour. For any other questions, requests or for a special tailored tour, send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or go to the page contact us.A booking number will be issued with all the details of the booking that we will send you by mail.We will also give you the process for the deposit and payment in that mail.After the reception of the credit card imprint and/or payment, we will send you a confirmation.We won't send you any other confirmation after this one to remind your tour.DEPOSIT - PAYMENTSFor individuals, a credit card imprint will be requested to guarantee the reservation of your excursion. Excepted for minicar and bus, any deposit is required for sedans and minibus (up to 7/8 persons). You will pay the day of your tour.For professionals
(agencies, TO, companies), a full payment is required 14 days before the service. A credit card imprint will also be requested to secure the transaction.Paiments can be made either by international wire transfer in euros
at your own expanses or by credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Union Pay, Discover, Diners Club Internationa, JCB or payment solutions like Paypal, Stripe and Paysend ...) with a commission of +2,5% or cash. Any checks are not accepted.PROMOTIONSSpecial promotions are non-refundable, and will be clearly stated as such in the offer.NOTIFICATION IN WRITING FOR CANCELLATION OR CHANGESAll cancellations, changes and arrangements must be notified in writing to:email@example.com . In exchange, you will receive a confirmation by us to your email.We are able to make certain changes to your reservation received in writing, such as changing the number of people, changing the name of the passenger, switching from one tour to another from one day to the next, replacing other passengers on the original reservation with sufficient notice. We will do our best to accommodate your requests but we must respect French driving law. Beyond a certain limit, our driver/guide must stop for a break, respect a driving schedule and the policies of any service provider such as the closing time of museums, sites and restaurants.INSURANCEThe French insurance companies can't cover Northern American people for any needs. We strongly advise you to subscribe a travel insurance covering all your activities.CANCELLATION & REFUNDThe cancellation and refund concern only private tours with or without a guide, the shore excursions and chauffeured services.The others guided walks and group tours have a different policy.
Cancellation must be received in writing by us more than 15 days prior to departure for a full refund less the bank fees for a tour with a sedan or a minibus. For minibus with more than 9 seats and motor coach, the cancellation free of charge minus the bank fees is 30 days prior to departure. Less than 30 days, the client will pay the total cost of the tour. A processing time of 15 days is required for reimbursement following cancellation. If cancellation is received by us less than 15 days before the departure date, the price of the tour will not be refunded.
If we cancel the tour under normal circumstances without encountering unexpected and unavoidable events beyond our control, you will get a full refund including the bank fees involved for your booking.In case of cancellation due to unexpected and unavoidable events beyond our control (force majeure), such as adverse weather, natural disasters, epidemic or pandemic, strikes, bankruptcy, quarantine, acts of war, terrorism or civil disturbances, governmental edicts or regulations and any other similar event, we will be liable to pay you back or we will grant you a voucher which can be redeemed for a future comparable tour within two (2) calendar years.We keep your deposit or full payment in an escrow account until the service is completed. We were therefore able to meet our commitments during the last health pandemic.BACK TO SHIP GUARANTEESince the very first day of our operation in 2014, there has never been a client of ours missing its ship. We know how to deal with the cruise shore excursion market and know exactly at what time our clients need to be back at their cruise ship's pier.If we miss the ship for any reason (trafic, accidents, breakdown), we guarantee your timely return to your ship to the next port of call.PICK-UP/DROP-OFF AIRPORTSWe highly recommend you to take the risk of delayed flights and the pick-up of the luggages for the waiting time. The first 30 minutes will be free of charge but there will be a supplement beyond that limit. From our side, our driver will check if your plane has registered a late arrival to adjust the pick-up time avoiding you extra cost.If you want a pick-up/drop-off inside the airports for a personalized welcome, there will be an extra. We are not responsible for missed transfers out of our control (strikes, trafic …) or if a passenger misses the scheduled transfer.COST OF THE MUSEUMSFor some museums, it is necessary to reserve a time slot in advance, for example Giverny. That's also the advantage of taking a guide because you skip the line. Museum prices vary a lot. The average price of a ticket is 9€. But some museums offering films sell their tickets from 15 euros. In some monuments, it is also necessary to pay a speaking fee to allow your guide to do his or her guiding out loud. Prices are also very variable and fixed regardless of the number of people. In Normandy, there are few speaking rights.Updated March 2021
